Recently, President Zhu Linsheng leading a delegation visited City University of Macau, Macau University of Science and Technology, The Hongkong Polytechnic University, Hongkong Baptist University and The Hongkong University of Science and Technology.
Zhang Shuguang, President of City University of Macau conveyed warm welcome to JSUT delegation. He introduced the university development history, the advantages of e-tourism and seniors’ e-healthcare and communications with universities in mainland. He hoped that in the aid of the advantage and experience of JSUT in vocational education, two sides would develop joint cultivating vocational education graduates, explore vocational education research of Portuguese speaking countries and welcomed JSUT students to study in Macau for master’s degree and exchange programs. Zhun extended gratitude to City University of Macau for the warm reception. He briefed the establishing history and development of JSUT and stressed the importance of cultivating teachers for vocational education. He hoped that two sides make full use of each preponderant disciplines and majors, deepen cooperation in vocational education, tourism management, intelligent manufacturing and etc. and cultivate talents adapting the development of Jiangsu, Macau and Guangdong-Hongkong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
During the stay in Macau, JSUT delegation visited Macau University of Science and Technology. The two sides has discussion on scientific and research cooperation and faculty and student exchange. After the meeting, JSUT delegation visited National Key Laboratory for Moon and Planet.
During the stay in Hongkong, JSUT delegation visited The Hongkong Polytechnic University, Hongkong Baptist University and The Hongkong University of Science and Technology, met with leaderships of each university and had discussion on jointly establishing laboratories, academic exchanges, jointly cultivating students of doctoral level and faculty and student exchanges. After the meetings, JSUT delegation visited key research centers and national key laboratories of the universities.
