JSUT President Leading a Delegation Visits Germany and Finland

  


  Recently, JSUT President Dai Guohong led a delegation to visit Merseburg University of Applied Sciences, SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences and F+U Sachsen Vocational Training College in Germany, and Satakunta University of Applied Sciences in Finland.

  In Merseburg University of Applied Sciences, President Krabbes, Professor Ehrsam, Dean of the School of International Education Cooperation, and Dr. Rückert, Director of Administrative Affairs, met with JSUT delegation. The two sides signed a new round of Sino-German cooperation agreement on jointly established a German language teaching center, jointly cultivate master and doctoral students, and built a research platform. In the afternoon, JSUT delegation attended the opening ceremony of the new students in Merseburg University of Applied Sciences. At the opening ceremony, Dai Guohong expressed sincere gratitude to Merseburg University of Applied Sciences for the strong support for the Sino-German cooperative education program. He expressed heartfelt thanks to all colleagues who have made outstanding contributions to the cooperation for a long time. He wished the students would cherish their time when studying abroad and strive to become ambassadors for political, economic, and cultural exchanges between China and Germany. During the visit, the delegation also visited the Environmental Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Laboratories of Merseburg University of Applied Sciences.

  In SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences, President Büsch, Vice President Schultze-Seehof, and Professor Kovacs, the departement leader, met with JSUT delegation. Both sides had in-depth exchanges on expanding Sino-German cooperative education programs and institutions in visual communication design and other fields, jointly building a digital media technology studio, offering summer German cultural experience courses, sending teachers to Germany for training, and strengthening Sino-German university and enterprise cooperation and etc.

  In F+U Sachsen Vocational Training College, the delegation visited F+U Nursing College, Preschool Education College, and Automotive Service Training College. Meeting with Dr. Meinhold, Chairman of F+U Group, and Kathleen, the company's head, they had a diccussion on new energy vehicle course construction, emergency management practical training, and vocational training for colleges teachers in Jiangsu Province as well as the preparation for the 2024 Management Committee meeting ofSino-Germany Knowhow Automobile Training Base and etc.

  In Satakunta University of Applied Sciences, JSUT delegation had in-depth discussions with Professor Haaparanta, Dean of the School of Engineering, Dr. Kainu, Director of the International Affairs Office, and Professor Van Geffen, the professional leader, on jointly carrying out the “2+2” electrical engineering and automation/mechatronics integration education program, jointly building laboratories, exchanges between teachers and students. After the meeting, the delegation visited electrical mechanical and electrical integration laboratory, and visited JSUT exchange program students.

  This visit to Germany and Finland has strengthened communication and exchange between JSUTl and cooperative universities and educational institutions in Germany and Finland, further enhancing the understanding of the training models and systems for applied talents in Germany and Finland, promoting in-depth cooperation in the cultivation of international talents and teaching and research fields between China, Germany, and Finland. It will promote the development of international cooperation and exchanges of JSUT to a wider and deeper level.
