On December 27th, JSUT held a New Year celebration activity for Chinese and foreign teachers. Wang Jun, Vice President of JSUT, as well as relevant leaders and teachers from Personnel Department, Logistics Support Department, School of Foreign Languages, International Cooperation and Exchange Office and Taiwan Affairs Office, and School of International Education, attended the event and gathered with teachers from Germany, Japan, and Taiwan Province to welcome the New Year together.
Wang Jun, on behalf of JSUT, conveyed New Year's greetings and gratitude to foreign teachers and teachers from Taiwan Province for their contributions to teaching, scientific research, and internationalization of education. He also expressed thanks to the related departments and schools for their active cooperation and assistance. He hopes that all teachers will continue to contribute to promoting internationalization of education and accelerating to build up a first-class applied university with distinctive characteristics.
Duan Youhui, a teacher from Taiwan Province and Diana Acker from Germany gave speeches. They thanked the university for providing high-quality teaching and research platforms, good working conditions, and thoughtful care and service in daily life. They shared personal experiences in teaching and life, expressed deep friendship with JSUT and hoped to continue working here and make theire own contributions.
The entire activity was filled with a festive and peaceful atmosphere. Chinese and foreign teachers had enthusiastic exchanges in the joyful atmosphere.
