In the winter holiday of 2023, 48 students of JSUT participated in the online credit courses of the University of Missouri-Kansas Campus, the online training program of GCA International Education Group and Government Scholarships for Overseas Study of Students From Jiangsu Universities, and successfully completed the exchange and learning tasks.
During the winter vacation, JSUT jointly held the online credit courses with the overseas cooperative university, the University of Missouri-Kansas Campus in Environmental Engineering for the first time. 30 students from School of Resources and Environmental Engineering participated in the project, and they said that it was a good chance to promote their English writing and oral expression, and improved their ability to learn independently and show themselves.
In contrast to the concept of sustainable development and global warming suppression, two students of JSUT entered the carbon neutral international talent training project (EU) of GCA International Education Group after passing the examination and test. The project lasted for three months. The course adopted the mode of “learning+practical” exercise.
Sixteen students from nine schools of JSUT, supported by Government Scholarships for Overseas Study of Students From Jiangsu Universities, went to Macao University of Science and Technology and Macao City University to participate in seven offline international courses, including Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology and Big Data Intelligent Application, Media Culture and Art, and Education Management.
Students express that participating in online and offline international projects during holidays were interesting and fruitful. The International Cooperation and Exchange Office has continuously improved the curriculum plan and activity arrangement, and made efforts to ensure the orderly implementation of various projects so that students can have a meaningful winter vacation.
