There are 37 full-time teachers in the college, including 2 professors, 13 associate professors, 5 senior experimentalists and senior engineers, and 19 PhDs. The college recruits 22 teachers with both outstanding academic competence and practice performance, including 11 automobile maintenance and repair masters and technicians approved by Handwerkskammer (HWK), 14 senior technicians for automobile maintenance and repair approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China and 4 persons with both PhD degree and senior technician qualification. The college has 2 third-level development targets of 333 High-level Talents Training Project of Jiangsu Province, 4 development targets of Six Talents Summit Project of Jiangsu Province and 4 development targets of Qinglan Project of colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province.

  The college establishes 3undergraduate majors: Automobile Service Engineering, Vehicle Engineering and Traffic & Transportation. The Automobile Service Engineering Major has been successively approved as brand major of Jiangsu Province (Class A) and pilot project for integrated reform of majors by the Ministry of Education; the Vehicle Engineering Major has been selected as outstanding engineer major of Jiangsu Province under the machinery and power category. The college has 1 key cultivation disciplinary orientation of Jiangsu Province, 3 engineering technology research centers of Jiangsu Province and 1 college and university practice and education center of Jiangsu Province. There are over 1,000 undergraduate students enrolled in the college.   

    The college has cooperated with F+U Sachsen Vocational Training College of Germany to establish internationally leading Sino-Germany Knowhow Automobile Training Base. The base is equipped with 21 laboratories, covering the fields of new energy automobile control and intelligent detection, urban rail transit, and the total value of instruments and equipment is over RMB 27 million.
